Guiding Your Experience: Our Commitment to Care

**Salon Policies: Ensuring a Seamless and Exceptional Experience**

 

At our salon, every appointment is an opportunity to provide you with exceptional service. To ensure we can offer the highest quality experience to all our guests, we have established the following policies:

 

**Appointment Reminders and Cancellation Fees**

 

We understand how easy it is to forget appointments. That's why we confirm your appointments 72 and 48 hours in advance. Please remember, missing or cancelling an appointment without a 24-hour notice prevents us from offering that time to another guest.

 

 **Deposit and Rescheduling**

 

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This amount will be deducted from your total service cost of your service at the time of payment. You are allowed to reschedule your appointment once, with at least 24 hours’ notice, and your deposit will hold your new appointment time.

 

**Late Cancellations and No-Shows**

 

Cancelling or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the reserved service amount due at time of booking a new appointment. No-shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. After a second no-show, we regret that we will no longer be able to serve you as a client.

 

 **Late Arrivals** 

 

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, we may need to revise or shorten your scheduled services to avoid delays for other guests.

 

**Your Responsibility**

 

While we send reminders, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. If you are unsure of your appointment details, please feel free to call us to confirm.

 

Our policies are designed to benefit all our guests and ensure we can provide the best service in a timely manner. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

 

**​​Children Policy**

 

We happily welcome children to enjoy the Posh experience for any service. For their safety and the comfort of all guests, please note the following: All children under 18 receiving services must have a parent or guardian present. To maintain a serene and focused environment, we ask that children under 12 only visit the salon when receiving services. The salon environment contains sharp objects, hot tools, and chemicals. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring your child's safety.

​**Service Changes**

 

If you need to change your reserved services less than 48 hours before your appointment (e.g., switching from a color and cut to just a haircut), you will be charged for the total of the originally reserved services.

**Extended Specialty Services**

Services over 4 hours, major color corrections, straightening services, and extensions require a consultation and a 50% deposit of the anticipated amount. All deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

**Cancellation Policy for Specialty Services**

 

 These appointments must be canceled 72 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations will result in a lost deposit and a charge of 50% of the anticipated service amount.

**Right to Refuse Service**​

Posh Salon and Boutique reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our team. We also reserve the right to refuse service for anyone who has had two or more no shows, or 3 or more late cancelations. 

 

**Protect your Things**

 

We provide and highly encourage the use of color robes for all color services, as well as a coat rack and hanger for your purse/bag and personal items. Posh Salon and Boutique is not liable for any staining or damages on clothing, bags or purses

**Guarantee of Services and Refunds**

 

If you are not satisfied with the quality of any service please notify us within 72 hours and we will consult with you to determine how we may adjust your service accordingly. No refunds or credit for services will be given, but our artists’ top priority is 100% happy guests, and to ensure your complete satisfaction with your service results.

​**Gratuity** 

 

Gratuity is not included in any salon services or gift cards (We do include an 18% gratuity on all wedding packages).

Gratuities are discretionary and appreciated. You may leave cash, and we provide change. Gratuities can also be added to your credit card payment, but we do not offer cash back on credit card transactions.

 

**Level Pricing**

 

At Posh Salon and Boutique, we utilize a level system for our service providers based on the demand for their time, not their experience. This system allows us to offer a range of pricing options to meet your needs. Please note that all service prices listed are our starting prices.

 

**Cost Before We Create: Transparency and Trust**

At Posh Salon and Boutique, we believe in transparency and trust. Before we begin any service, we will always provide a full consultation and price quote. Our promise is to match you with the right service provider to honor your beauty budget. We will never start a service without your agreement to the investment.

**Premium Pricing** 

 

Level 4 stylists/nail artists and above charge an additional 10% on all services received on Saturdays. To avoid this fee, we invite you to book during the week or with another stylist on Saturdays.

**Transparency Chemical Fee: Honesty in Every Detail**

At Posh Salon and Boutique, we charge for both our time and the products used to create your perfect look. We use a state-of-the-art medical scale to meticulously weigh and charge only for the color we use on your hair. This fee will be included in the consultation and cost before we create.

**Privacy Commitment**

 

Posh Salon and Boutique will not share or sell guest information to any outside party. The collection of personal information is for client profile services only. Online bookings are through a secure site, and credit card information is never stored or visible in client profiles. Personal data is used for appointment confirmations, feedback purposes, and general site usage analysis.

 

**Payment Methods** 

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay and Cash. Personal Checks and Money Orders are not accepted. 

**Return Policy**

Product Returns:

We accept unopened, unused products within 14 days of purchase for a full refund in the original form of payment. Open products can be exchanged for salon credit within 30 days, subject to a 20% restocking fee. Credit will reflect the amount paid at the time of purchase.

Boutique Returns:

We refund boutique purchases within 30 days for account credit, provided the item is unworn with tags still on.​
